Superorganism publica su esperadsimo segundo lbum, World Wide Pop, va Domino.
Cuando aparecieron sus primeras canciones y vdeos en 2017, su singular propuesta, mezcla indita del indiepop psicodlico y la electrnica funk ms efervescente, comenz rpidamente a ser recomendada por artistas como Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend, Jehnny Beth, Gorillaz,… logrando legiones de fans en todo el planeta.
Ahora, cuatro aos ms tarde desde su homnimo debut de 2018, los superorganismos regresan conservando su ncleo principal, formado por Orono, Harry, Tucan, B y Soul, pero mutando su concepto gracias a las colaboraciones de Stephen Malkmus, CHAI, Pi Ja Ma, Dylan Cartlidge, as como al legendario msico y actor Gen Hoshino. A nivel tcnico el grupo vuelve a producirse, pero cuenta con la ayuda del magnfico Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers) en algunos cortes.
Las trece canciones de World Wide Pop logran el difcil equilibrio entre el artificio y la seriedad o entre las tonteras de la ciencia ficcin y la intensidad existencial. Si su debut se complet antes de que toda la banda hubiera estado en el mismo sitio al mismo tiempo, este disco profundiza en el imaginario creativo que resultara cuando los amigos en lnea comienzan a pasar tiempo juntos en la vida real.
