La texana (Seguin, 06/07/1953 – 13/08/2021) es, sin duda, una las ms exquisitas artistas injustamente no popularizada por la industria musical tras 45 aos de carrera, 18 discos publicados y galardn Grammy. A lo largo de una trayectoria inspirada por Loretta Lynn y Townes Van Zandt, Griffith ha sido reivindicada por innumerables artistas, con algunos logrando colaborar con ella como Darius Rucker, The Indigo Girls o Peter Buck de R.E.M., y sus composiciones versionadas por Dolly Parton, Kathy Mattea, Suzy Bogguss y muchos ms.
