Tras publicar en 2017 su quinto lbum, esa obra maestra titulada A Black Mile to the Surface, y el extraordinario Million Masks of God en 2021, la banda de Georgia liderada por Andy Hull ahora invita a sus seguidores a juntarse con ellos en The Valley of Vision, un impresionante proyecto que envuelve sus seis nuevas canciones con una impresionante pelcula que sumerge a los espectadores en realidad virtual de 180.
El origen de estas obras se remonta al periodo de ‘A Black Mile to the Surface’, pero comenz fortuitamente en el verano de 2021 cuando Hull estaba buscando sus cuadernos de letras y, en su lugar, encontr un libro de oraciones puritanas de 1975 titulado The Valley of Vision, que su madre le haba regalado la anterior Navidad. El ttulo se convirti en un mantra que ayud a canalizar la idlica energa idlica de otro mundo que impregna todo el lbum y la pelcula.
