The Ruby Cord es el captulo final de la triloga que Dawson comenz con el mundo pre medieval de ‘Peasant’, llev hasta la actualidad con ‘2020’ y concluye en el futuro con este disco. Triloga que el trovador britnico ha compaginado con otros trabajos, formando parte de Hen Ogledd en ‘Mogic’ (2018) o en su colaboracin junto al colectivo finlands Circle, ‘Henki’ (2021).
Las siete canciones de The Ruby Cord se grabaron en los estudios Blank de Newcastle-Upon-Tyne con Sam Grant a los mandos y suponen su regreso al singular universo del artista y nos sumergen en un futuro irreal y fantstico, donde las costumbres sociales han mutado, los lmites ticos y fsicos se han evaporado… un lugar donde ya no necesitas relacionarte con nadie ms que contigo mismo y tu propia imaginacin.
