Garage Days Re-Revisited es un EP de METALLICA editado inicialmente en Agosto 1987 y compuesto ntegramente por versiones (covers) de artistas/canciones que de alguna manera influenciaron a Metallica: Artistas como Diamond Head, Holocaust, Killing Joke, Budgie o The Misfits. Las canciones se incluiran despus en el lbum de ventas multi platino, Garage Inc. publicado en 1998. A Metallica le pareci que ahora era buen momento para re-editarlo en su formato original y aqu lo tenemos en varios formatos.
Es el primer disco de estudio en el que aparece Jason Newsted que se uni a la banda como bajista tras la muerte de Cliff Burton. El formato original publicado en UK tena 4 temas para que entrara dentro de las reglas del mercado en el momento cara a duracin mxima permitida para un EP, sin embargo esta re-edicin tiene 5 canciones. Ahora 30 aos despus, el E.P. ha sido remasterizado por Chris Bellman en los estudios Bernie Grundman Mastering de Hollywood (California).
