Tras la caleidoscpica aventura de su quinto disco, ‘Fever Dreams’, el galardonado cantautor, instrumentista y dramaturgo dublins Conor O’Brien regresa con un exquisito largo que despliega todo su caracterstico estilo meldico, su don para los arreglos vvidos y sutiles al mismo tiempo y unas letras que expresan sus esperanzas, miedos y sueos en una poesa absorbente en una decena de extraordinarias canciones.
‘That Golden Time’ toma su nombre prestado de la quinta cancin, el sencillo ms destacado del lbum. Conor lo explica: ‘Quera reflejar la calidez del disco en su ttulo’ y, sobre su gestacin aade: ‘Es probablemente el lbum ms vulnerable que he hecho. Toqu y grab todo en mi apartamento y, hacia el final, invit a otros a participar’- entre otros, a la leyenda irlandesa Dnal Lunny al bouzouki, al compositor estadounidense Peter Broderick al violn, y a un grupo de msicos que O’Brien haba visto por primera vez actuando en un homenaje a uno de sus grandes amores, el compositor italiano Ennio Morricone, que aadieron voz de soprano, viola y violonchelo.
Disponible en CD (SoftPak con libreto de 20 pginas) y dos versiones LP (140g con libreto A5 de 12 pginas), una con el vinilo en negro y otra limitada en vinilo oro.
