El mes pasado All We Are testaron su inminente regreso con la maravillosa Burn It All Out, la primera cancin que el trio establecido en Londres presentase desde su debut del 2015, uno de los discos ms impactantes de los ltimos aos. Ahora, acaban de anunciar Sunny Hills, a la venta el 9 de junio a travs de Double Six/Domino. Este nuevo trabajo est producido por Kwes (Solange, Kano, Loyle Carner), y se desenvuelve en un campo sonoro ms urgente que el anterior, y dirigido hacia elementos basados en la psicodelia, el krautrock, o el post- punk.
All We Are est formado por Guro Gikling (voz, bajo), Luis Santos de Brazil (guitarra) y Richard OFlynn (batera/voz secundaria); y desde el principio han intentado transmitir con su msica que existe un camino diferente para combatir la oscuridad que hay actualmente en este mundo, y que con sus canciones deben apoyar esto. Sunny Hills es un lbum vibrante, de baile, pero con tintes ms opacos, que busca crear un universo en el que entender que nuestro lugar en el mundo tiene un sentido.
Precisamente la portada de este disco busca transmitir ese concepto: Es una antigua casa entre bloques grises a medio construir. La mujer que la habita se neg a vender su casa a un grupo de constructores que inclua a Donald Trump -, que incluso se metieron a juicio con ella. Perdieron, y la propietaria aguant en esa pequea casa hasta el fin de sus das.
Sunny Hills es un disco potico, de baile y con una fuerte carga poltica y social, combativa hacia los tiempos que corren, tan complicados en algunos momentos.
