Regresa es el ttulo del debut en larga duracin de Buscabulla para el sello Domino. Bajo Buscabulla se esconde un do puertorriqueo formado por Raquel Berrios y Luis Alfredo Del Valle en NYC y posteriormente reubicado en la isla.
Regresa se grab en su totalidad en el estudio casero de Raquel y Luis Alfredo en Puerto Rico, es una montaa rusa emocional en la que se enfrentan y reflexionan sobre los problemas que les afectan a ellos y a la sociedad puertorriquea en general: la frustracin por la falta de oportunidades para los locales mientras las tasas fiscales atraen a los inversores ricos, la inestabilidad social y poltica, as como la ansiedad y la duda.
Para los toques finales, la banda trabaj con Patrick Wimberly (Chairlift, MGMT, Solange, Blood Orange, etc.) que contribuyeron con la produccin adicional y mezclaron el lbum. Tambin reclutaron a su querido amigo Roberto Carlos Lange, tambin conocido como Helado Negro, para contribuir con un arreglo orquestal para el “Club T y Yo”.
En Regresa, Buscabulla exige en ltima instancia la autorreflexin, el despertar y la perseverancia en medio de un futuro incierto. Raquel dice: “Regresa se trata de la autoaceptacin de uno mismo con todas nuestras imperfecciones y la aceptacin de estar de regreso en Puerto Rico, con todos sus defectos”.
Desafortunadamente las actuaciones previstas a principios de Junio se han visto canceladas. Las once canciones de Regresa se publican en CD (jewel con libreto 8pp) y LP (vinilo negro 150g y portada gatefold)
