La cancin que abre el disco, Troubled Son”, es una cancin indie y pop, hecha para los escenarios de los festivales. “Trata de la lucha que todos tenemos en la vida”, dice Miles sobre el tema. “A veces tenemos las cosas claras y a veces no. Soy yo reconociendo mis defectos y mis miedos y mostrando el viaje que estoy haciendo mientras intento resolverlo todo”. Rodado en el pub Young Prince de Londres y con la participacin del actor britnico James Buckley, el tema viene acompaado de un vdeo dirigido por James Slater.
Miles vuelve a su mejor versin de guitar hero en One Man Band y se centra en grandes ganchos e himnos an ms grandes. Agudo, contagioso, urgente y repleto de momentos para cantar, Miles est en la cima de su carrera. Miles regres a Liverpool para trabajar en el lbum y reflexion sobre su viaje.

Grabado en los nuevos Kempston Street Stdios, Miles se uni a su viejo colaborador James Skelly de The Coral para la produccin. Despus de que Miles compusiera la contagiosa cancin que da ttulo al lbum y la nebulosa “Ransom”, se uni a Tom Ogden de Blossoms y a Keiran Shudall de Circa Waves, as como a Andy Burrow y a su socio habitual Jamie Biles para componer los temas.
