Fantasy reedita el segundo lbum de Susan Tedeschi, ‘Just Wont Burn’, coincidiendo con el 25 aniversario de su lanzamiento original.
La cantautora y guitarrista bostoniana se gradu en Berklee College of Music en 1991 compaginando los estudios con actuaciones en diversos grupos locales. Influenciada por Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin y la estrella local Toni Lynn Washington, debut en 1995 con ‘Better Days’ en el pequeo sello local Oarfin cuyas crticas le abrieron las puertas de Tone-Cool que edit originalmente ‘Just Wont Burn’ en 1998.
Este segundo trabajo con once canciones fue producido por ella misma y Tom Hambridge (George Thorogood, Johnny Winter) y catapult la carrera artstica de Tedeschi gracias a su nominacin a los Grammy como ‘mejor nueva artista’ y lograr ser disco de platino. Abandon su carrera en solitario tras ser nominada Grammy en otras cuatro ocasiones y publicar su quinto disco, ‘Back to the River’, en 2008, para formar Tedeschi Trucks Band junto a Derek Trucks, lder de The Derek Trucks Band, con quien llevaba aos girando bajo el alias Soul Stew Revival y haba contrado matrimonio en 2001. Sin duda, Susan Tedeschi es una de las figuras capitales de la Americana y Blues de nuestros das.
Esta nueva edicin 25th aniversario incorpora, a las once originales, cinco bonus- dos inditas: ‘Voodoo Woman’ y ‘Waste of My Time’, una toma alternativa de ‘Looking For Answers’ y dos versiones grabadas en directo por Tedeschi Trucks Band en el Beacon Theatre.
Disponible en CD (Soft-Pak) y dos versiones LP (180g), una en vinilo negro y otra limitada en verde (Coke Bottle Clear).
