Tras ms de dos dcadas de experimentacin McCombs cre un inquebrantable universo sonoro que este disco atraviesa con melodas directas y letras esperanzadoras; algo extrao para un artista cuya obra versaba sobre los aspectos sociales ms extremos.
Para dar forma a ‘Interior Live Oak’ Cass decidi volver a trabajar con sus primeros colaboradores de Bay Area, como Jason Quever (Papercuts) o Chris Cohen y rematar las sesiones con las guitarras de Matt Sweeney y Mike Bones en NYC.
