A finales de Agosto, METALLICA estrenaban Hardwired, el primer single de este nuevo lbum que ver la luz el prximo 18 de Noviembre. Con este tema, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammet y Robert Trujillo daban comienzo a este nuevo captulo en la carrera de Metallica. Un mes despus, soltaban otra cancin: Moth Into Flame.
Con 35 aos de carrera, Metallica han vendido ms de 110 millones de lbumes. El ltimo lbum de estudio Death Magnetic (2008) fue disco de platino en 17 pases y les llev a actuar ante millones de fans en estadios de todo el mundo
