Georgia publica su tercer lbum, ‘Euphoric’, a travs de Domino.
El pedigr musical de Georgia Barnes viene de familia, hija de Neil Barnes- cofundador de Leftfield, y su reconocimiento en la escena londinense no le tard en llegar tras ser la batera de Kae Tempest o Kwes y publicar su homnimo debut en 2015. Su segundo largo, ‘Seeking Thrills’, se edit en enero de 2020 y, aunque sus memorables sencillos fueron xitos radiofnicos, el confinamiento frustr todos los planes previstos, pero, la aclamacin de prensa y pblico la consolid como una de las mejores productoras y compositoras del Reino Unido. Desde entonces, Georgia ha colaborado con artistas de la talla de Mura Masa, Gorillaz, Shygirl, Baby Tate, Dan Carey o David Jackson, y, ms recientemente, ha escrito con Olly Alexander de Years and Years y para el n1 de Shania Twain, ‘Queen Of Me’.
Tras concebir sus primeros trabajos en su pequeo estudio domstico, Georgia necesitaba salir de su lugar de confort y explorar, viajando a L.A. y ponindose en manos del Vampire Weekend, Rostam (Haim, Carly Rae Jepsen, Clairo), que coproduce la decena de fabulosas nuevas canciones de su nuevo disco.
Recientemente, Georgia ha actuado en el Primavera Sound y, ahora, est disponible ‘Euphoric’ en CD (SoftPak con libreto 8pp), casete y dos versiones LP (vinilo 140g), una estndar y otra limitada en vinilo violeta y portada impresa con efecto espejo.
