Emotional Eternal es una magnfica obra sobre las lecciones aprendidas en su carrera, vistas a travs de los ojos de alguien que ha dado un paso atrs y que puede ver claramente como han resultado. Al igual que su laureado disco previo, Bon Voyage (Domino, 2018), las ocho nuevas canciones se grabaron a las afueras de Estocolmo con Reine Fiske, multiinstrumentista de la banda de rock sueca Dungen que ha trabajado con gente como Travis Scott, Anna Jrvinen y Fredrik Swahn, productor e ingeniero reconocido por su trabajo con la banda sueca de indie-rock The Amazing.
