OBESES y la COBLA BERGA JOVE publican El ressorgiment de lAtlntida, su primer disco en directo. Surge del proyecto conjunto entre el cuarteto contemporneo, la Cobla Berga Jove i el Cor dObeses grabado en el Teatre lAtlntida de Vic.
Este experimento musical ve la luz por primera vez en el marco del festival Amb so de cobla 2019 y propone un encuentro entre la esttica singular de la banda y los timbres de la cobla y el corazn clsico. El proyecto fue condecorado con el Premi Capital de la Sardana 2021 a la mejor propuesta artstica. Y Arnau Tordera I recibi el Premi Rotllana 2019, concedido por la Federacin Sardanista de la comarcas de Lleida, por los arreglos de la cobla que escribi.
El concierto se grab a finales del 2020 en el Teatro lAtlntida de Vic con todas las entradas vendidas. La situacin sanitaria oblig a reducir al 50% el aforo y lo msicos decidieron ofrecer dos conciertos consecutivos el mismo da, intercambiando repertorio y as posibilitar la grabacin ms extensa de una hora y tres cuartos. De esta manera, desfilan todos los himnos principales del cuarteto reformulado con la nueva sonoridad que aporta el coro, tambin hay espacios para sardanas icnicas e incluso dos piezas de Obeses interpretadas ntegramente por la Cobla Berga Jove.
Se trata de la sexta referencia discogrfica de la banda. El diseo de la portada y del disco es obra de la ilustradora Laia Baldevey.
