El quinteto de Nueva Jersey formado por Martin Courtney (voz, guitarra), Alex Bleeker (bajo, voz), Matt Kallman (teclados), Julian Lynch (guitarra) y Sammi Niss (batera) es uno de los pilares dentro del territorio independiente norteamericano desde su debut en 2009. Tras publicar su anterior largo, ‘The Main Thing’, a finales de febrero de 2020- unas semanas antes del confinamiento- y ver todos sus planes truncados, la banda no ha perdido la f y regresan con un disco superlativo, ya reseado por los medios especializados como el mejor de su trayectoria.
Las once nuevas canciones que conforman ‘Daniel’ se han grabado durante poco ms de una semana sin descanso en la mtica sala A del estudio RCA en Nashville con la produccin de Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves). Las composiciones de Daniel son sencillas pero ingeniosas. Brillan e irradian sin titubeos ni dudas, y conectan la maravilla desinhibida de los primeros trabajos de Real Estate con la perspectiva ganada de la edad adulta.
