El nuevo trabajo fue una bsqueda para Rhys: Encontrar 13 canciones que simbolizaran lo que supone estar vivo en 2022. Mientras buscaba las respuestas compuso el emotivo y complejo single, “The Middle” que aborda la falta de equilibrio y las secuelas de la ruptura. Al buscar su propio “rincn del cielo”, Rhys descubri que conecta con una generacin que necesita huir, sin importar el destino: una sensacin compartida de incertidumbre sobre lo que depara el futuro y de urgencia por escapar.
