Este lbum en directo es una verdadera pieza de la historia de la msica y una innovacin revolucionaria en la grabacin de msica en vivo: The Chieftains grabados en directo en el Boarding House de San Francisco el 1 de octubre de 1973, y en el Great American Music Hall el 5 de mayo de 1976, por Owsley “Bear” Stanley.
El 2CD incluye material extra de la ltima entrevista que concedi Paddy Moloney antes de su fallecimiento en 2021 y una historia de las races irlandesas en la msica Bluegrass por Jerry Garca de The Grateful Dead.
El libreto de 36 pginas contiene extensas notas de los miembros de la Fundacin Owsley Stanley y del legendario msico de bluegrass, Ricky Skaggs.
