Antes conocido artsticamente como ‘Slime’ Wilma Archer no ha parado de colaborar en multiples proyectos – aparece en el debut de Sudan Archives (donde escribe del sencillo ‘Confessions’ o en siete cortes de Nilfer Yanya adems de trabajar con Celeste y escribir y producir para Jessie Ware en Devotion.
‘A Western Circular’ es un disco reflexivo fruto de un lustro de escritura sobre su experiencia vital con especial atencin a la envidia, el amor y la lealtad e inspirado por el escritor John Fante y su teora sobre la dualidad de la condicin humana. Musicalmente se visitan los universos de Frank Zappa, Yasuaki Shimuzu, Robert Wyatt o Arthur Russell.
‘A Western Circular’ se edita en CD y tres ediciones LP – la primera vinilo negro 140g con pster 12″x12″, la segunda idntica pero con el vinilo transparente de tirada limitada y una tercera en vinilo negro con un 12″ exclusivo y cubierta plstica muy limitada.
